IDS-AL4(DPO)-E1-Rings

Some AL4 and maybe DPO transmissions are now fitted with a NDTH hydraulic distributor. You can
identify them as per [A] in our below picture on the valve body.

For these applications the E1 ring is different from previous ones.

E1 ring for transmissions without NDTH E1 ring for transmissions with NDTH
hydraulic distributor: hydraulic distributor:

CAUTION: Fitting rings with part number O 11 27 PT031 5595 to a transmission with NDTH hydraulic
distributor or fitting rings with part number O 11 27 PT031 1515 to a transmission with a non-NDTH
hydraulic distributor causes the destruction of the automatic gearbox.

Our overhaul kit A 11 27 DS072 0001 for AL4 and DPO transmissions includes only
O 11 27 PT031 5595 for transmissions without NDTH hydraulic distributor. If the rings for
transmissions with NDTH hydraulic distributor are required, they must be ordered separately.

PLEASE COMPARE THE E1 SEALS WHICH ARE IN THE TRANSMISSION PROPERLY WITH
THOSE YOU WISH TO INSTALL – AND ALSO MAKE SURE TO IDENTIFY THE TRANSMISSION
BY USING ABOVE GRAPH MARKED [A].
