 BIOGRAPHICAL DATA

Allen Paul S. Mercado, born on November 3, 1997, grew as an infant in Seoul, Korea.

Currently residing in 45 Emilia Village Biga 1, Silang Cavite where he grew and raised by his

guardian, Soledad H. Bustos – his grandmother. His mother and father, Annabelle Mercado-

Bustos and Allan Ferdinand H. Bustos, left in Seoul Korea for work and went back to Philippines

to accompany their child, Allen. His father Allan, is deceased. He has a sister and brother named

Joalfaye Cabiltes and Jed Andrew Aputen respectively.

Moreover in 2004, he discovered his skills and potential when he was a young child in

Father Michael Donoher Memorial School acquiring awards and achievement as a young

individual. As years had passed, In June 2010, He more learned his skills and fortifying his talent

when he step up into highschool, at Far Eastern College – Basic Education Department – Cavite

where he went into another higher level of knowledge and understanding about life and science.

At November 2015, he enrolled in Cavite State University Silang Campus – Silang,

Cavite where he took up the course degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

INTRODUCTION

What will happen in our world without the stars? The majestic beauty of creation of this

world will be gone without the stars. The creativity, inspiration and motivation which belongs to

the stars may not be present without it.

Stars are made up of combination of oxygen, nitrogen, and other chemical factors We

have a vast territory and each of the multitude of stars may differ from a known called

constellations. These multitude of stars can be seen at night especially in non-city areas like

provinces which have trees around. Constellations are seasonal. Locations may differ by the

rotation of the earth.

Reinabelle Reyes, a known person who studied in Ateneo de Manila as Summa Cum

Laude taking BS Physics and took her masteral in Princeton University, dwells in astronomical

science who later on contributes to the proof of the theory of relativity of Albert Einstein now

inspires young children to study more in astronomy and cosmology. The opportunity of each

individual to separate their mind and existence to the cosmological objects in this world. There is

more upon the stars that we should better know. Many of us, adults, teenager and young children

must be brought with the stars of this world especially us Filipinos because we often see stars at

night and we tend to focus on mobile gaming, studies, work and so much more.
Statement of the Problem

However, many Filipino people especially in this generation has lost interest viewing the

constellation at night. Lack of interest can cause ignorance thus by constructing the constellation

application can build well-knowledgeable people who can reach for the stars.

This study aims to develop an augmented reality application which is build by three-

dimensional objects simultaneously virtually seen a digital device where a computer-generated

data is implied.

The general objective of the study was to develop an augmented-reality application about

constellations

The project design was conducted at Cavite State University -Silang Campus from

February 2019 until February 2020
