JIGInspectionTrackingSystem(JITS)(1of2)
• Everyfacilityinwhich3ormoreJIGGuarantorMembersparticipateisinspected
annually inrotationbyoneoftheparticipatingMembers.
− Facilitiesinwhich2GuarantorMembersparticipatemayalsoelecttojointhe
programme,carryingoutinspectionsalternately.
• Inspections are carried out by highly experienced inspectors,certifiedbya
GuarantorMembercompany.
• Inspectionsarecarriedoutusing a detailed checklist,andfindingsand
recommendationsareuploadedintotheJIGInspectionTrackingSystem(JITS).
• TheJITSgeneratesareportthatincludestheinspector’soverall assessment of
theoperationasExcellent / Good / Satisfactory / Less than Satisfactory /
Poor.
• Thereport is circulated byEMailtotheJV Operator and Head Office
Participant Representatives.
• TheJV Operator closes out the recommendations, and updates the JITS to
showthestatusofeachrecommendation.
• TheJITS can produce management information toshowwhetherinspections
arebeingcarriedoutonschedule,whatthemostcommonfindings are,the
severityofthefindingsandthestatusofcloseoutofallfindings.

JIGInspectionRecommendations
• High Priority Recommendations
− Recommendations concerning fundamental QC, operational or safety
issues. The Inspector should agree an implementation target date with
facility Manager.
− To be closed at the earliest possible opportunity.
• Recommendations
− Non fundamental QC, operational or safety issues.
− To be closed by an appropriate target date.
• Recommendations Outstanding
− Recommendations shown in the previous JIG Inspection Report which have
not, in the opinion of the Inspector, been satisfactorily addressed.
− They should be closed by an appropriate target date.
• Other Comments
− Inspectors may provide additional comments on opportunities to further
improve the operation which should be considered and implemented at the
discretion of the JV.
• Action Tracking & Closure
− JV Manager to keep action status up to date on JIG Inspection Tracking
System.

• Excellent:Usedonlyforlocationswithaveryhighstandardof
operation.Therearenorecommendationsoutstandingfromthe
previousinternationalinspectionreportthatarewithinthecontrolofthe
facilitymanagementandthereareonlyafewnewrecommendations of
aminornatureinthecurrentreport.Staffarewelltrainedand
motivated,recordsarecompleteanduptodateandequipmentis
maintainedin“asnew” condition.

Satisfactory &Poor
