I chose to interview Lewis Hamilton

1. What do you do?

I’m a professional racing driver, five time world champion in the F1 league, today driving for
Mercedes Petronas.

2. Have you always wanted to do this job?

Since a little kid I dreamed about driving NAS cars, so when I was 10 my father signed me in the
karting team of Hertfordshire, UK where I progressed quickly and scouts took me to race in Formula
A. That is when my career as a professional car racer started.

3. Do your personality traits correspond with the job requirements ?

Yes, my personality traits correspond with the job I have and I also think I couldn’t work anything
else at this point except my current job.
4. What kind of education/training do you need for this job?

You only need a special racing license for karting a bit of talent and lots of hard work and
dedication.
5. What are the advantages of doing this job?
I get to work what I love, to meet many fans, travel around the world and acquaint new drivers but
also older drivers and my idol Michael Schumacher .

6. What are the disadvantages of doing this job?

After every race I must eat a lot of food because during the race I lose between 5 and 8 kilos. Also it
is a very dangerous and extreme sport with a few deaths during the races.
7. What would you recommend to a young person who wants to take this job?

I recommend to any new drivers out there to work hard, not be afraid and drive safely but also win
many races in the years to come . Thank you for having me today it was a great experience for me and
