Resumption of Operations in Manapakkam Campus post Covid-19 Lockdown

We are pleased to inform you that pursuant to Press Note No.182 dated 30th August
2020 issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, it has been decided to operate with
100% strength in the Headquarters Office, Manapakkam campus effective,
1st September, 2020.

With this, the Work From Home (WFH) facility simultaneously stands withdrawn.
Exceptions may be granted only to very select categories of employees, such as
pregnant women, women employees having children less than one year old, employees
who are under quarantine. All other employees who do not report for duties at their
workplace should apply for their own leave.
As per the directive, the following has to be strictly adhered at the work place by all
employees :
• Use of Arogya Setu app is mandatory.
• Must wear a face mask at all times.
• Ensure social distancing at in the campus and individual work place

The following measures are taken in the campus :

• All staff members would be screened with thermal scanner at the entry points of
all buildings

• Hand sanitizers shall be kept in the entrance of all buildings and everyone shall
sanitize their hands before proceeding to their work place

• Seating arrangement to ensure Social distancing (including workstation/

Conference Room / Canteen / Pantry / Lifts etc.)

• The canteen operations have resumed in a phased manner and hence staff
members are encouraged to bring their own lunch to reduce the number of people
availing canteen facility.

• In addition to the above, all staff members advised to strictly follow the advisories
issued by the Management, from time to time.

In accordance with the provision contained in the above Press Note, to ensure the safety
of all employees, Dr. G.Sathappan, Sr. Medical Officer, is notified as the Nodal Officer
for the Manapakkam campus. He will be responsible for ensuring that SOPs related to
resumption of work in the campus is followed, and for appropriate handling of COVID-
positive and for symptomatic cases.
We are sure that employees, even as they are naturally excited to resume work in the
campus, will rigorously follow the laid down SOPs for their own safety as well as that of
their colleagues.
