Question: As a result of Movement Control Order (MCO), some people are suffering even
more. As considerate citizen, in your opinion, what can be done to ease their suffering?

Movement Control Order (MCO) was announced by our Perdana Menteri (PM) due
to pandemic Covid-19. MCO was done for reduce the virus spread to others in term that the
virus can easily spread if people have a large gathering. So, people like hawkers, caterers,
employees, employer and even a shop owner also will suffer to run their daily life’s. I believe
it is important to give some aids to citizens to ease their life’s during this MCO.

First of all , we should five financial support to people overcome their suffering.
Our government already have some steps to help their citizen. They planned to give some
money based on the family income monthly. This is good initiative by the government, we
can help those hawkers, caterers, employees, employer, shop owner and student. This help
them to buy some food stuffs and help them in other way too. We should help the shop
owner or employers financial to cover up their employee’s salary among the MCO time even
though they not working on this time.

Government also should take some initiative to help citizens by provide the
essential item like food. They should form a team to help the B40 and M40 families to get
some essential food items like rice, flour, sugar and others. I believe this can reduce some
people burden on finding food source on this crucial time. This also prevent people to go out
for find for groceries which help in maintain social distancing.

Another factor citizen feels suffer on this MCO time, most of them are attacked by
boredom. This is one of the major suffering among the citizens in our country. To overcome
this suffering, high authority and some Ngo’s or even a big company can aid. For example,
Telco companies should give some free mobile data to access the internet or give free social
media surfing to people. Netflix and YouTube channel also can give some free surfing to
people as this a global pandemic. This is just to help people to overcome the boredom of just
sitting at home without doing nothing.

In a nutshell, government should take most of the responsibility to overcome

people from suffering. They should initiate some steps in term of continuing the MCO. This
help the government to overcome citizens boredom and simultaneously can increase the
social distance between people by prevent them go out from home.
