Goals Essay

Setting short-term and long-term goals gives me motivation and dedication to achieve them. By

setting these goals I am pushing myself to work hard so I can get to where I want to be. I believe

it is important to set goals so that you get motivation to eventually accomplish them. The goals

we set for ourselves are our guides in life. Our goals give us a sense of direction, without goals it

would make it difficult to succeed in life because there would be nothing to work hard for. Goal

setting is a constant reminder to push yourself to accomplish and work hard for the goals that are

important to you.

My educational goals after high school is to go to Kennesaw University to major in the medical

field. I plan to get my associates degree first, then my bachelor’s degree. I also wish to

strengthen my communication skills, as well as Enhance Leadership Ability. In my career

leadership is an important skill. Also, having great communication is also very important but not

only in my career but in life as well.

My career goal is to be an ultrasound technician. I plan to start working after I get my

associates degree, while still going to college for my bachelor’s degree. I envision myself

working in Savannah, Ga. Or Atlanta, Ga. I believe there will always be a job in the medical

field no matter where I go. I believe I will work 8-12 hours a day helping all my patients and

enjoying every minute of my day.

My personal goals in life is to get married after college and have kids 1-2 years after that. I hope

to drive a 2025 Audi sports car. I plan to live in Savannah, Ga. Or Atlanta, Ga. I wish to have

saved up several of money with my significant other before we have a family. I want to provide

everything and anything for my family. I look forward to taking in ideas from my dad, by
investing in many things I come across in my life. I plan to never be in debt and have extra

money for any surprises that may happen throughout our life.

Eventually getting my dream job is a goal I plan to accomplish in the next few years. I plan to

graduate high school and graduate college. Finishing school will take me far to meet this goal. I

will constantly have goals to motivate me throughout my life that I believe I will accomplish. My

goals may seem not easy to achieve but with my dedication for what is important to me it will all

be worth it in the end.
