    Q1. Identify and sketch the curve:

    𝒚𝟐 + 𝟑 𝒙𝒚 + 𝒙𝟐 − 𝟐𝟎 = 𝟎.

    Q2. Suppose that the axes of an xy-coordinate system are rotated through an angle of 450 to obtain
    an x‫ ׳‬y‫ ׳‬- coordinate system. Find the equation of following curve

    𝒚𝟐 − 𝒙𝒚 + 𝒙𝟐 − 𝟑𝒚 + 𝟐𝒙 − 𝟏𝟕 = 𝟎 in x‫ ׳‬y‫ ׳‬- coordinate system.

    Q3. Sketch the hyperbola, and label the foci, vertices, and asymptotes of the following equation:

    −𝟗𝒚𝟐 + 𝟏𝟔𝒙𝟐 + 𝟓𝟒𝒚 − 𝟏𝟔𝒙 − 𝟐𝟐𝟏 = 𝟎.
