WELCOME TO THE FIRST STEP!
If you have just opened this booklet it’s because maybe you want to apply for Executive Board or maybe because you are still thinking
what is going to happen with you next year. Either way, we have a message for you... This process, without a doubt, can be one of the
most challenging and intense one this organization has. However, with all that it means to be a LCVP, surely things will get more
challenging than the initial process - DON’T WORRY , it is most definitely, worth it.

GEN 2021 – 2022, needs people who will walk and lead AIESEC in Colombia to make the great changes that we are experiencing today
happen, but also requires a generation of Executive Boards capable of create an everlasting impact for AIESEC in Colombia and not
leave ideas in nice words but to carry them into execution. That means we need the best talent, and we are sure that you have it.

Being part of a Executive Board of AIESEC in Colombia is not only a privilege but also a great responsibility and challenge that requires a
lot of preparation. We put our trust in you to give the best of yourself during the process, because this is the minimum that AIESEC in
Colombia deserves.

ELECTION PHASES

1. WRITTEN APPLICATION + VIDEO: In the next pages of this booklet you are going to find all the information about the
content of the application, video and requirements, this is the first step to be an official applicant. 15%

2. INTERVIEW AND CHALLENGE PROCESS: If you managed to submit the application, meet the requirements and be an
official candidate, the next step is the presentation of the following interviews:

- LCP current interview 20%


- LCP elect interview 25%
- External interview (evaluated by the selected external person) 15%
- LCVP 2020 Interview 15%
- Psychological test: enneagram test. (-5% only if the psychological test is not performed)

CHALLENGE: During the process after you are an official applicant, elections team will contact you for a challenge. This
task aims to review your practical functional knowledge, AIESEC vision within the current context and solution-oriented
qualities. 10%
ELECTION PHASES

3. NOMINATION: For any Executive Board candidate the nomination results will come from an evaluation of the following
points by the elections subcommittee:

- Personality
- Alignment with organizational purpose
- Local entity knowledge
- Team management
- EB member profile
- Functional and organizational knowledge

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: To be nominated you need to have a score higher than 80 in the weighting of the written
application + video and the interview process + challenge.

4. LOCAL ASSEMBLY SPACES AND ELECTION: Once you are nominated, the local election manager and LCPe is responsible
for generating discussion spaces, socialization of proposals and strategies of candidates and Q & A. After this, the final
election will take place within the framework of a local assembly.

REQUIREMENTS
The application process is the first and only opportunity you will have to present yourself and your proposals to your entity
before the election assembly.

THE APPLICATION MUST FULFILL THE NEXT REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum font size 10. Written in English.


- Biography: Resume of your life story. Feel free to do it as you want. (1 page)
- General and specific questionnaire: Answer all the questions listed below. (max. 8 Pages) *You may add a cover page to
your questionnaire part, it won’t count in the allowed amount of pages.
- Resume: General explanation of your application, include ambitions and goals according to the role you're applying for.
- Video: Attach the link of a 4 minutes video where you introduce yourself as an applicant and the summary of your
proposal.
- Endorsements: attach 3 endorsements or recommendation letters from someone who led you, someone you led and
one external endorsement (EP-Trainee-Enabler) All endorsements have to be signed, with the contact information of the
person. Can be in English or Spanish. (In the case of TMs, the endorsement from someone who has led may be from an
external.)

whole content: Written application and endorsement letters (all of them in only one PDF File). In order to apply

Be careful when writing e-mail addresses correctly. The notification of official candidates will arrive at your mails
in a maximum period of 48 hours after the deadline, once it is verified that your application meets all the
established requirements.

[PM] PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
1. According to the development of the membership journey for period 20.2, what would your work plan be for period
21.1? Make a diagram where you illustrate step by step the items to be executed.

2. Taking into account current virtuality routines, what would be your strategies for membership activation? How would it
be reflected in the number of promoters that the entity currently has?

3. Taking into account the PM Elements, what would be your goals for each of the sub elements? What would be your
tactics to obtain these results?

4. Taking into account that one of the great difficulties that currently exist at the national level is the quality and
%implementation of the TS as it progresses from building to closing, what would be your bets to work in synergy with
the LCVPs of your EB? How would you handle this issue to make it a priority in your entity?

5. Describe what would be the evolution of the organizational culture of your local entity and how this would impact on
the reporting routines of your local committee.
[F&LM] FINANCE & LEGAL MANAGEMENT

1. Analyze the current situation of your LC, and from this, create an action plan that includes time and responsible to
become a MASTER entity according to the EFB.

2. According to the reality of your LC, choose the focus product and create an investment and profitability plan that
reflects how the area of finance drives and supports the growth and sustainability of the chosen product.

3. How can profitability be ensured in the entity? Define the three principal bottlenecks and propose three strategies to
respond to each one of them.

4. What is the role that finance should play in every synergy, to ensure compliance with the plan of the entity ? Prioritize
your synergies and the role of finances in each of of them.

5. According to the measures of a LCVP F&LM, create a TOP 5 of the most important goals and how you will achieve
them during your term.
[B2C] BUSINESS TO CUSTOMER
1. Based on the achievement of this semester (the last 4 months): a) breakdown your first semester goals of Sign Up and Applicants
per product and per IR Partner (oGV) and Duration (oGT). b) Define focus markets for UR|PR c) the ideal structure to achieve
your results (explain the logic behind).

2. Imagine there’s no longer universities to work with in 2021.1 (that also means: no strategic partnerships, no internship
validation, no mailing support to the universities): Plan your attraction strategy for the first semester 2021, in order to growth
by 20% the number of Sign ups and Applicants. Be as specific, creative (not graphically speaking) and detailed as you can. Set
responsibilities and role in charge (taking in account your synergy), timeline, goals, (#su & #apl).

3. Now, focus on your Uni market. Make an SWOT analysis and bring to the paper your 3 main strategies to get 80% of your term
results of it, name your strategies, be as specific and clear as possible in tasks, timeline. Also, plan and timeline the ideal
transition of all your university accounts.

4. As AIESEC we used to have a strong Physical Attraction. Nowadays despite the Corona situation, we are now putting all of our
efforts in digital attraction and we’re not having the best results in CR SU-APP. Taking in account the concept of “Growth
Marketing”, what do we must improve to reach better results?

5. Make an analysis of the signups from your entity in the last 4 months: 1) Bring at least 5 insights, the most the better. 2) What
are your DOs and DON’Ts? 3) What should we focus on to bring more results? 4) What would you improve in your sinergy?
Focus on the term “Growth Marketing”
[OGV] OUTGOING GLOBAL VOLUNTEER

1. In order to move to the next level in terms of massiveness, what OFFLINE Marketing strategy (outside universities) would
you implement to expand our market segmentation and open the way to a new source of Sign Ups? Define sectors to work,
DDLs and responsible in terms of Synergy (if you think it is required).

2. No campaign of attraction is effective without a strategy of consideration behind. In this way, establish one campaign of
attraction-consideration so that the obtained leads can be approved in less than 3 days.

3. Carry out an analysis regarding the current conversion rate of the local entity and define an ideal conversion rate for its
management.

4. Analyze the current LC’s ICX partners to determinate which of this partnerships we have to fix, which of this we have to
remove and which of this we need make more results. Establish next steps for each big IR partner.

5. Do a research in the business sector and take one idea from other organizations and/or enterprises, to implement in our
operations process in order to get better results.

6. What should be the role of the ICX LC’s (cooperations) in the monthly campaigns and results. Explain detailed the
expectations that you will have with your ICX Local Partners in order to get better results, good response rate and additional
benefits
[IGV] INCOMING GLOBAL VOLUNTEER
1. Establish your sales strategy for the first semester of your VP term. This should include: pre-attraction phase, defining
focus segmentation, sales speech, goals, internal rewards & recognitions and timeline of the strategy.

2. Analyze which is the main bottleneck for IGV Sales in your Local Committee right now. Define an action plan to overcome
this bottleneck and achieve better results in terms of OPENs during your term as LCVP IGV.

3. Take into account at least one international case of success of IGV Sustainability model, based on selling the IGV projects
to stakeholders. Based on these experiences, define which strategies you could implement in your VP Term yo improve
your results in IGV Sales.

4. Analyze the current state of the international relations of your Local Committee (which are the main cooperations and
the results with them). Establish your IR Plan for the 21.22 term, defining your focus cooperations and strategies to foster
the results with each one of them.

5. Develop a digital attraction plan for your opportunities and to promote that your cooperations send EPs to your Local
Committee, achieving your applicants goal.

6. Taking into account the situation generated by COVID-19, define your plan for delivering preparation, experience and
post-experience standards, considering how will you deliver them both phisically or virtually, ensuring the ideal
conversion rate from finish to complete.
