 Performs the initial test casting of the block mold or until as necessary and monitors the
casting process to confirm any unusual problems that may occur during this stage and
adjust the block mold accordingly.

 Performs modeling of new products based on approved specifications and on latest techniques
for faster development time.
 Re-modeling of existing production models according to approved changes or modifications, to
improved design or help correct current problem.
 Implements new ideas on new model development, techniques, production processes like mold
making as to simplify work methods and help increase productivity.
 Prepares block mold by the finished plaster model and make it ready up to drying of the molds
as necessary.
 Assist the trainer in troubleshooting problems attribute to design of molds.

MOLD MAKER

March 1990 to 1996 (American Standards)

 Sets up mold cases and fits brass and aluminum tubes, plastic notches, cuddles and strapping
bands.
 Prepares production molds and mold cases by wiping, air blowing and patching chipped edges
and surfaces.
 Transfers mixture of plaster of pairs and water from the steel bucket into plastic pail, then pours
into the mother molds and allows mixture to set.
 Removes strapping bands and cuddles scrapes seams/Sharps or protruding areas
removes splits and soap stains and air blows new molds.
 Assemble molds on pallets and straps bands around completed sets of molds.
