II. Program Educational Objectives (PEO)


PEO
Three to five years after graduation, the graduates of Bachelor of Secondary Education from USM-KCC are expected to attain the following:
PEO1: Locally and globally competitive Teachers, occupying positions in the Department of Education or institutions of higher learning either of public or private, industry,
or any related field employing technical and management skills with strong adherence to ethics and moral conduct.
PEO2: Pursue life-long learning activities and continuous career development to keep abreast on the advancement regarding the practice of teaching profession.
PEO3: Develop sense of responsiveness towards contemporary issues concerning education, economic, society and environment through active participation in the
conduct of solving issues and extending services to communities.

IV. Course Description
The course examines the development perspectives in Asian countries, cultures, and values as well as issues, and challenges, historical roots and Asian responses.
The course is designed to enable students to make comparative study of Asia societies.

 Scoring of activities shall be zero based.
Activities Accumulated Score  All activities shall follow rubrics for scoring established by the instructor/college. For laboratory

 The accumulated scores shall be within the duration of a period (midterm or final period).

IX. New Normal Course Policies
1. Each student shall establish contact with his/her instructor/professor per course enrolled through messenger/text and email. He/she must be a member of
Messenger Group Chat (GC) account for every course enrolled and must look for his/her group being coded by this format: Course Code-Program & Section-
USMKCC-Semester-Year (e.g. ProfEd111-BSE2A-USMKCC-S1-2020).
2. Submission of activities can be done personally (if possible, but shall follow protocols) or through email, but no submission shall be allowed through messenger.
3. Scores of activities shall be informed through text or email.
4. For classes requiring no face to face meeting/contact, students’ attendance/participation shall no longer be considered, but with strict monitoring in
recording/updating of students’ activities. Failure to get frequent contact or response on submission of activities may cause a student to be dropped/failed from the
course.

5. Student must submit activities on or before scheduled deadline. Late submission shall be subjected to rules and measures established by the faculty.
6. Repeat submission for enhancement of score of an activity without advice from instructor/professor is discouraged.
7. Every submission of activity shall be identified using this code format: Subject Code- Program& Section-Last Name of Student-First Name of Student-Activity
Number (e.g. ProfEd111-BSE2A-Dela Cruz-John-1).
