 Title of the Movie: HICHKI

People say that being a teacher is not a fulfilling job to pursue, because
for them the salary is low and not enough to pay back the hard work that
every teacher exerted just to fulfill their duty. Yes, the salary that every
teacher can get is not to high compare to other profession, but what’s fulfilling
in this job is not just about the money or the amount of salary that a teacher
can get, but it’s about the essence that teacher helps every parents in molding
and shaping their children to become a good individual and productive citizen
of the country. The teacher is considered to be the second parents; students
spend more time with their teacher rather than spending more time with their
parents at home. They doesn’t only shape or teach their students to have a
good attitude, but they inculcate or impart knowledge into the mind of their
students. They help their student to be a full-packed individual, which is
composed of having a good attitude and having sufficient knowledge that they
can used for their future.

Hichki movie showcases lot of learning or lesson that every individual

can get, especially on the part of teacher and students. In this movie we can
see how a certain individual is dedicated to land a job of being a teacher. She
doesn’t think to give-up her dreams to become a teacher, even though she
was rejected for how many times. At the time when she lands a job being a
teacher in an exclusive school, she fully helps her students to excel in class
and to prove to their self that they can achieve their dreams in the future.
Even though there are times that her students tends to be naughty in class,
she doesn’t let anger to rise towards her students, instead she make her
students realize how education is important in life.

There are some part or scenes in the movie wherein you can truly see
the sacrifices that the teacher are willing to take, just like on the part wherein
Ms. Mathur, teacher of F9 students talk and convince the school head to give
chance to her students and to let them take the final exam, were there was a
condition between the school head and Ms. Mathur that if encase the students
of Ms. Mathur are failed to pass the exam, she will leave the school where
she work. With that situation the teacher really works hard in teaching her
students just to make sure that they can pass the said examination. This only
proves that every teacher is willing to serve and give the best for their
students. This shows that teacher is not only a educator, but they are also
parents to their students.

It was shown also in the movie that teacher must listen and know first
the situation of their students. Teacher must listen in the way that every
students had its own problem that they are afraid to share to someone, know
the situation in the way that every students had a different situation they face
like the situation of their family and the life that he/she had. In the part of the
students, they should always remember that they need to give respect and
importance to their teacher in the sense that teacher serves as their parents in
their second home.

People must think that being a teacher is not easy; it takes a lot of time
and effort just to fulfill the duty of being a teacher. We should always
remember that “teaching is a noble profession” teachers are not only part on
the cognitive development of every student, but they are also part on
development of the character of students to become a good individual. We
should not forget the sacrifices that our teachers give just for us to have a
better future, they are the one who prepare us to become equip with the
things that we need, they prefer to spent more time with their students than
spending time with their family and own child. We should always honor them
because there is no doctor, engineers, nurse, accountant, and many other
professions without a teacher. Teachers are in the first line in molding and
shaping individual on the right path that they should take in.
