0 CONCEPTS AND VISION

1.1 FROYÖ

Our concept for Froyö is a mobile food truck restaurants making it one of the easier
ways to open a new restaurant. It will be at Kota Samarahan area. Froyö is a yogurt ice
cream, as it is natural, it is one of the healthiest and most recommended foods worldwide.
This is because of the yogurt healthy properties and high nutritional value itself. It is a
preparation skimmed milk when served and its combination with variations of toppings from
recently cut seasonal fruits to cereals, crunchy toppings and delicious sauces which makes it
an even more delicious and healthier product. Froyö is recommended for even the most
sensitive groups such as children, pregnant women and the elderly.

There are so many people who are obesity because of eating unhealthy food.
Recently, Malaysia’s Health Minister Subramaniam Sathasivam warned that the country is
facing an obesity epidemic, and just over half of the population is either overweight or obese.
By comparison, 20 years ago, only 4% of Malaysians were considered obese. According to
the latest estimates from the World Health Organisation (WHO), almost 14% of the country’s
citizens fall under the ‘obese’ category. A further 40% are overweight. In the last 45 years,
fat and sugar intake has increased by 80% and 33% respectively. Hence, prevent this
disease we wanted to open Froyö because frozen yogurt has fewer calories and half the fat
of ice cream. It also contains probiotics that are also known as ‘good bacteria’ because of
their beneficial effects for human health.

Our vision however is we want a world where healthy choices are delicious. We are
trying to create awareness of the healthy lifestyle with foods which is Froyö.

1.2 AURORA HIJAB

Our concept for Aurora Hijab is a small shop that are planned to be opened at the
Summer Mall, Kota Samarahan. Aurora Hijab is a brand that will sell, create and design
square scarf and shawl. We want it to hold a strong reputation by being the trend-setter for
the most prevalent headscarf known as ‘bawal’ and shawl. Aurora Hijab’s mission is to
continuously produce varieties hijab collection with high qualities, exquisite designs and
colors, attractive and in line with the latest trend.
In a country where most Muslim women wear a hijab, there are two brands that have
taken this country by storm which are dUCk and Naelofar Hijab. Naelofar Hijab scarves are
between RM50 and RM100 a pop, and those from dUCk are typically between RM130 and
RM800. We want Aurora Hijab to be modest wear aligns with contemporary fashion but is
geared to the needs Muslim women, offering style and diversity like the two famous modest
wear brands but more cheaper and affordable. This is because some people especially
students can’t afford the hijab or scarves that use unique designs and luxe materials such as
satin and silk. Hence, with making and inventing Aurora Hijab, we can sell more cheaper and
affordable unique hijab or scarves that can be trendsetters in modest wear.

The vision for Aurora Hijab is to be one of the hijab brands and producers in our
country that are cheap and affordable for all people. Other than that, we also want to be as
an inspiration and icon in the hijab industry. We want to take the opportunity to interpret hijab
fashion in its own way and by encouraging people to use their imaginations to style it so it is
able to fill the streets with women who illuminate a unique personal style.
