LEARNING TO TRANSFORM ONESELF AND SOCIETY

When individuals and groups gain knowledge, develop skills, and acquire new values as a result of
learning, they are equipped with tools and mindsets for creating lasting change in organizations,
communities, and societies. Moreover, developing self-confidence and the ability to make
independent, reflected, critical choices, are essential to being able transform oneself and society.

As you can see in my collage there is a caterpillar undergoing metamorphosis to become a butterfly.
For me, the caterpillar symbolizes as a young child, a child who doesn’t know his future yet. But
eventually he will undergo puberty and become an adult, he will face many challenges. However, that
challenges will make him become stronger, that will transform him into more responsible man. All the
skills that he acquired during the tough stage will lead him into helping the society to be more
productive. Just like a butterfly helping the flowers to bloom.
