Personal Introduction

This portfolio will give you insight to who I am and how I get my work done! It will

show you how efficient, and determined I am with the work that I do! This portfolio will

showcase the knowledge I have obtained related to my career field of choice during my senior

capstone. As you will learn deeper into the portfolio, my strengths include teamwork,

organization, and efficiency. My biggest weakness is getting stressed when I feel rushed,

however, I will never lose focus on my job and I will not risk anyone’s health because of my

stress.

Throughout this portfolio, you will learn that my lifetime goal is to create my own

family. However, being just a mother does not pay the bills unfortunately. With that in mind, I

have decided to pursue phlebotomy as my career. Phlebotomy is a stable job with a decent salary

making the decision easier because I refuse to create a family before I can support one. As a

phlebotomist I will be part of a team that works to bring someone back to health. Working as

part of a team to help bring someone back to a health more efficiently is of the most importance

to me because without a team, efficient diagnosis would not be available. You will learn that I

am well aware of what a good teammate offers to a team and that I try my hardest with any

activity/project I take part in. Just recently I made it on the 2020 7-AAAAA All Region Softball

2nd Team, and throughout my entire high school career, I played Varsity at third base and first

base. As you can tell, I do not take anything lightly and will always work to be best of my

abilities.

After I graduate from high school, I plan to begin working as a phlebotomist right away.

As of right now, I am enrolled in a phlebotomy course that will allow me to certify in December

of 2020, before I even graduate. Many of the skills I have obtained have been from multiple
experiences throughout my life that have led me to this decision. Throughout this portfolio, you

will learn of my experiences, and more reasoning as to why I chose to pursue phlebotomy as my

career.
