Leader: Glory in his holy name;

Leader: He is the Lord our God; his judgements are in all the earth.
People: He is mindful of his covenant forever,
of the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations.
All: Come, let us worship him!

* OPENING HYMN 694 Come, Ye Thankful People, Come ST. GEORGE’S

1. Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home;
all is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin.
God our Maker doth provide for our wants to be supplied;
come to God's own temple, come, raise the song of harvest home.
2. All the world is God's own field, fruit as praise to God we yield;
wheat and tares together sown are to joy or sorrow grown;
first the blade and then the ear, then the full corn shall appear;
Lord of harvest, grant that we wholesome grain and pure may be.
3. For the Lord our God shall come, and shall take the harvest home;
from the field shall in that day all offenses purge away,
giving angels charge at last in the fire the tares to cast;
but the fruitful ears to store in the garner evermore.
4. Even so, Lord, quickly come, bring thy final harvest home;
gather thou thy people in, free from sorrow, free from sin,
there, forever purified, in thy presence to abide;
come, with all thine angels, come, raise the glorious harvest home.

* AFFIRMATION OF FAITH (The Apostles’ Creed)

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
* GLORIA PATRI 70 MEINEKE
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen. Amen.

CALL TO PRAYER Dr. Steve Pulliam

When we gather to praise God, we remember that we are his children,
and he is with us always. With this assurance, let us now go to God in prayer.

CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER
Caring God, love began with you and has filled our cup to overflowing.
In the abundance of your countless gifts, give us your grace to fill others’ lives with love,
that we may be worthy of all you have given us. May we model to all people
your unconditional and generous love through our own words, our actions,
and our gifts. We ask this is the name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen.

PASTORAL PRAYER

THE LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

* CLOSING HYMN 87 What Gift Can We Bring ANNIVERSARY SONG

1. What gift can we bring, what present, what token?
What words can convey it, the joy of this day?
When grateful we come, remembering, rejoicing,
what song can we offer in honor and praise?
2. Give thanks for the past, for those who had vision,
who planted and watered so dreams could come true.
Give thanks for the now, for study, for worship,
for mission that bids us turn prayer into deed.
3. Give thanks for tomorrow, full of surprises,
for knowing whatever tomorrow may bring,
the Word is our promise always, forever;
we rest in God’s keeping and live in God’s love.
4. This gift we now bring, this present, this token,
these words can covey it, the joy of this day!
When grateful we come, remembering, rejoicing;
this song we now offer in honor and praise!

MINISTRY MOMENT
Did you know that there is an online version of KidsLife, for preK-2nd grade, available to parents to do at
home? Our 3rd-6th grade KidsLife program meets in person on campus Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
During this time the children dig deep into God’s Word and enjoy time together. On Sunday mornings,
we have a fun interactive Sunday school lesson that is available via Facebook or our Website. Also, our
childcare is now open on Sunday mornings! To use Central’s childcare, please sign-up your child when
you are registering yourself for worship. It is through your generous giving that we are able to provide
these great discipleship opportunities. For more information, check out our website centraltolife.com.
