1. Find the number of integers from 1 to 106 (inclusive) that are perfect squares, perfect cubes,
or perfect fourth powers.

2. In a batch of 50 B.S. Mathematics students, there are 30 boys, and there are 35 students
without a grade of 5.00. Show that there are at least 15 boys without a grade of 5.00.
