Parrot construction guide

● Cut out the two pieces of the model with a craft

knife on a cutting mat (don’t let young children do this
part). Pay careful attention to the cutting guide (solid
black lines) or creases/folds (dashed lines).

● Crease the curved folds along the centre of the back


SLOT 2 SLOT 1 and tail. Slide Tab 1 (on the wings) into Slot 1 on the
bird’s back and then Tab 2 into Slot 2. This will make
the wings curve realistically. Fold the sides of the body
together and fasten Tab 3 to Slot 3.

● To fly correctly, the tail must be folded up in a
