Payment of Admission Fee:-

All selected candidates desirous to take admission are required to pay Admission Fee of Rs. 56,500/- (Rs. 49,000/- for
SC/ST) inclusive of Mess Advance of Rs. 19,500/- through Demand Draft / Banker's Cheque drawn in favor of "Director, NIT,
Rourkela" and payable at Rourkela (preferrably in SBI, NIT Campus Branch, IFSC - SBIN0002109). Payment by cash /
cheque will not be accepted under any circumstance.

Candidates are required to bring the following documents while reporting for admission:

1. Signed copy of the application submitted online.

2. Original and one photocopy of all degree certificates and mark sheets/grade cards starting from H.S.C. Please note that
the result of all course based degrees need to have been published before admission is granted. However, in
exceptional cases when the University/Institute is not in a position to publish the result by the time of admission may
be permitted to submit their result latest by 31st August, 2019.

3. Certificate for proof of age (Original & a Xerox copy).

4. GATE/NET/GPAT Score Card in original (if applicable).

5. OBC/SC/ST/PH Certificate, if applicable (Original & a Xerox copy).

6. College leaving/Transfer Certificate in original.

7. Migration Certificate in original.

8. Sponsorship Certificate (if not submitted), Relieving letter from sponsor, sanction of leave, Identity Card/Salary Slip in case
of sponsored candidates only. Candidates applied for PhD need to produce leave for at least three years with
M.Tech/M.Pharm degree and four years with all other degrees from the sponsor at the time of admission. Candidates applied
for M.Tech (Res) need to produce leave for at least two years from the sponsor at the time of admission.

 9. Relieving letter for all candidates who are working.
10. Candidates selected under Local Sponsored category need to bring all documents mentioned in (8) above except
relieving letter and sanction of leave. Along with their responsibility in the parent organization, they need to come to NIT
Rourkela for research work for at least 120 days and 500 hrs. per semester including Saturdays, Sundays and other holidays.
Such candidates are required to bring a certification from their employer regarding the arrangement made in the parent
organization to this effect to facilitate research work at NIT Rourkela.

13. Deman Draft / Banker's Cheque for Admission Fee of Rs. 56,500/- (Rs. 49,000/- for SC/ST) writing "Name of
Candidate", "Department" and "Application ID" on the back side.

On arrival in NIT campus, candidates are advised to report at the Chief Warden Office (located behind Dhirubhai Ambani
Hall, Contact No. - 0661-2465000) for accommodation. They are required to present a copy of their application form and a
photo-identity card (UID-Aadhar / Driving Licence / PAN / NPS-PRAN / Passport / Govt. issued ID Card).

Venue for Admission :- Conference Hall, First Floor. Computer Science & Engineering Department

Reporting Time :- 0930 hrs. [17 July 2019]

Important Note -

I. Semester Registration is scheduled on 22th July, 2019 and all Ph.D students need to complete certain formalities after
admission and before Semester Registration. Accordingly, they are advised to come preapred to stay in the Hall from the
date of admission. Delay in Semester Registration may lead to non-payment of Fellowship and/or shortage of
attendance and consequential effects.

II. Any applicant/person having any observation/grievance/complaint relating to selection of any candidate or otherwise may
bring the same to the notice of undersigned by email to [acad.res@nitrkl.ac.in] latest by 04/07/2019 (Thursday). No such
observation / grievance / complaint from any source will be entertained thereafter under any circumstances.
