Lights You Can Use:

 Cyc
o Backdrop
o Can be one or multiple colors
o Purple doesn’t work very well
o Using only cyc light creates a silhouette
 Backlight
o Six lights that will hit the front of the stage
o Can be one or multiple colors
o Can be used for a flash effect
 Top light
o Directly above the stage, but won’t show their face
o Can be any color
o Can be broken up into groups to only light the back, middle, or front of the stage
 Booms (Side light)
o Top row blue, middle row white, bottom row red
o You can use any or all at once
o Makes the best flash effect
 Face light
o Only white
o Can be any brightness
o This is the one thing your choreographer will want for sure
 Movers (spotlights)
o Can be any color
o Can be focused to one part of the stage
o Can be set to roam around the stage randomly

Other Things to Think About:

 Lights can fade in or out or change immediately
 If you want lights to quickly go one after another, we can make a follow cue (It will be
multiple light changes on only one cue)
 Choreographed entrance or start on stage?
 Choreographed exit or end on stage?
 When in doubt, use more face light
