Early life background :

 Abraham Lincoln’s parents were Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks who worked in a
farm for years before that they had moved to Illinois in 1830.
 When Lincoln work with her parents, he knew about the black slavery and he felt
let down because he didn’t like the conditions in which that people lived.
 Years later Lincoln went to New Salem and in this city, he joined to local political
group before he had started to against slavery.

In 1830 he moved with his family to Illinois and then he started to work like merchant in
the Mississippi river because Lincoln always worked to help his family during his childhood
and youth. Years later Lincoln went to New Salem and in this city, he joined to local
political group before he had started to against slavery.
Education:

 When Lincoln was a child was supposed to study, but his parents didn't have
money, for this reason he studied alone and, in his youth, he had the opportunity
for read too much.
 When he moved to New Salem he cheered up to study maths and literature.
 Lincoln had studied law for himself before he got law degree in 1836.
When Lincoln was a child didn't have a lot education but in his youth he had the
opportunity for read too much about different topics then when he moved to New Salem
he studied maths and literature but time later he decided to enlisted in the militia and he
was elected a captain. Finally, Lincoln had studied law for himself before he got law
degree in 1836.

Political career
 The Lincoln's political career started in New Salem, he got together to a local
political group and he began to have special interest against slavery.
 In 1832 Lincoln ran for the state legislature and he lost the elections was supposed
to give up, but he went ahead and two years more later he won.
 In 1846 he was select to the United States House of Representatives, that’s was a
success story in his career.
 Lincoln accepted the nomination for republican president in 1960 and began this
position on 1961 and many people looked up to his work.
The Lincoln's political career started in New Salem where he joined to local political group

story in his career.
Then Lincoln had a law partnership with John T. Stuart until 1844 because he wanted
another way, so in 1846 he was select to the United States House of Representatives.
Abraham Lincoln characterized for give speeches about the abolition of slavery because he
never agreed whit this human abuse before that he had lost the elections for the United
States Senate in 1858.
Finally, Lincoln accepted the nomination for republican president in 1960 and began this
position on 1961.

Achievement as president:
The best Lincoln's contribution and achievement was the emancipation proclamation that
was signed on 1863, thereby freeing the entire slave population.

After political life


Unfortunately, Lincoln could not finish his mandate, on April 14, 1865 he was killed at the
Ford Theater in Washington.
Abraham Lincoln was considered one of the best presidents of the United Stated because
he helped to build the country as one after the civil war.
