In love with a

« How can I be sad, and your voice is a song, your laughter is a melody

psychopath
and your eyes are joy. »
_Alice Drew_
It has been fourteen years since I have started working at the Anderson mental
hospital. During my work there, I did not notice any strange cases that were
usually reported by the city’s newspapers. I was already used to patients
screaming, scratching walls at night, and beating doctors. It was just that normal.
Everything changed later on Saturday 2007. I still remember how it all started.
On Saturday 13th, 2007 I went to work as usual and while I was preparing an
injection for one of the patients, I heard someone screaming, “Let go…let go
now”. Doctor Fitz and Charles were holding a young man and they took him to
a separate room. I went to check out what was wrong with him. I entered
carefully and took a seat. He stared at me for a while then stood next to the
window.
“Do you have an idea why you are here?” I asked. He made no comment.
I added “You do not look like a psychopath”.
“How do psychopaths look like?” he replied.
“All I can tell is that they do not look like you” I said.
He turned and said “And all I know is that I will get out of here as soon as
possible”.
