Tepeka, KS 68605 (785) 296-9948 November 19th, 2020, RE: TPS Fine Arts Performance Proposal (Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Theater) Dear TPS Board Mombers, Please approve the folowing proposal for TPS Fine Arts Performances (PK - 12): ‘Al programs wil bein alignment with the Kansas State High School Activites Associaton (KSHSAA) Music Consideraions, KSHSAA COVID-18 Resrouces, and the NFHS Aerosol Study Furthermore, all guidelines end restrictions putin place in the Ad Astra Plan To Reopen Kansas, 8 well as adjustments made by Governor Laura Kelly and Shawnee County Health Officials will be followed at all times. “Teachors will work with buildng administration to implement the folowing COVID 19 mitigation ‘uidelines at each performance: 1 2 3. AIKSHSAA Return b Activity Considerations and NFHS Performing Aets Aerosol Study Guidelines wil be flowed as referenced in TPS Guidance fo Fine As. During remote only learning, virtual ensemble rehearsals/performances wil occur ‘When in-person, students and teachers will wear masks and ill use bell covers at all times. ‘Maximum capacity fer performances will be determined based on venue and Shawnee County Heath Department recommendations. 30 minutes maximum performance time must be folowed by @ minimum of 1 air ‘exchange. Ar exchange times wil vary by fact or venue, ‘a. Bands wil play pregame for one varsity game only. (Wil include the National Anthem).
