Guidance for Filling-Out a PDF Worksheet Using a Laptop or Desktop Computer

Requirements:

-Chrome Web Browser

-Adobe Acrobat Reader

Instructions:

 You will need to download the PDF worksheet onto your computer using the Chrome web
browser.
 Click into each text box, or hit the “Tab” key to move from box to box, and enter your answers.
o For answers that require graphing, labeling or drawing an image, you will need to use
the pencil and/or drawing Comment tools available in the Adobe Reader software.
 When you have completed entering your answers, save the PDF worksheet to your computer
with your first initial, and last name, at the end of the file name (i.e. Chapter_1_JSMITH.pdf).
 You will need to submit your PDF worksheet according to the instructions provided by your
professor or teaching assistant.

Guidance for Filling-Out a PDF Worksheet Using an iPad

Requirements
-Adobe Acrobat Reader for Docs App (which can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store)

 Open the Fillable Form by clicking the hyperlink to the form on the eBook platform
 Click the “share” icon (square with an up arrow)
 Click the “Copy to Acrobat” icon
 The form will automatically open in the Adobe App
 Click into the blue boxes and add your data/answers
 You can move to the next Blue box by either clicking into it, or clicking the “next” button in the
app
 Your data/answers will automatically save when you click out of the each blue box
 To access the drawing tools, comments, and highlighting tool, click on the blue pencil in the
bottom right corner of the screen; they will appear at the top of your screen
 When you have completed the Fillable Form, you can submit the form via email, text, or print it
out by clicking on the “share” icon; then click the “Share a Copy” button; select one of these
options
 You can also choose to share a link to your document if the person to whom you are sending
the link has an Adobe Cloud account
o Note: in this case the person with whom you share the link can collaborate within the
Fillable Form
