• Improves social skills (social relationships) when well taught and practiced.
• “our mental health and happiness are profoundly shaped by what we
do with our attention/where we place our attention/how we place
our attention - faculty of awareness ”.
Richard Burnett

“If every 8 year old is taught meditation, we will eliminate
violence from the world within one generation”.
Dalai Lama

“The faculty of voluntarily bringing back a wandering attention over and over again, is
the very root of judgement, character and will. An education which should improve
this faculty would be the education par excellence. But it is easier to define this deal
than to give practical instructions for bringing it about”.

William James, Principles of Psychology, 1890
