Today we leave home in the afternoon, as I live in Maria Lombardo,
which is a large town, but it lacks terminals with large cars, because
we move to dovecotes, from there we take a detour to Acayucan,
there at the terminal We waited our turn to board the truck that would
take us directly to Mérida Yucatán, we are going for the first time, to
visit my uncle and my cousins who live there, as it is the first time
we will travel there, because we are a little excited, the trip was a bit
long, very tired because of the waiting time to reach our destination,
the trip was made at night, to arrive early, while we were traveling I
was sitting with my sister who is 2 years older than me, I was asleep,
They were all awake, I only remember that they looked out the
window a lot and mentioned a very long bridge where we passed over the water, which is in
Playa del Carmen, I only opened my eyes for a brief moment and saw a reflection of wat er,
then I turned to sleep al Mancer was amazing because I knew there was less to go, every so
often I asked how much time was left to get there, that makes me laugh a lot. When we
reached our destination, we waited for a brief moment
for them to come for us. My two uncles arrived, one
who came from a town near mine, and who also came
to visit, they took us in the car. We arrived in Mérida, it
was all very nice, my uncle's house had a pool, but
ughh too bad we couldn't get in, a little later more guys
came from our same route, they were all going to meet
up, now that we are in the downtown Mérida, we came
for a walk, the one I liked the most is Paseo Montejo,
it's as if I was in a part of Spain or something like that, I've never been there, but I've seen
photos, and it's something similar, the buildings and places, restaurants, antiques,
businesses with very beautiful architecture, especially the "Cantón" palace, we visit
different Mayan museums including a herbal museum where we appreciate varieties of
exotic plants, all beautiful. We bought many souvenirs with my cousins, the streets were
very illuminated with screens, that made the streets look very active, apart from the fact
that there are many tourists, we took many photos, we ate snow, cotton candy, we stopped
to look at the Cathedral of San Idelfonso oldest that exists there, it is beautiful when it
passes at night, they turn on lights and it makes it look even more elegant and old. When
we returned to my uncles' house, my aunts were ready to prepare some delicious tlayudas
from Oaxaca, they prepared it in fathoms and we broke many piñatas, everything was very
happy, the coexistence among the family is very beautiful, I really like this experience, and
it is one of those that I will never forget, we missed visiting many places. We will be back
soon.

El día de hoy salimos de casa en la tarde, como yo vivo en María lombardo, que es un
pueblo grande, pero carece de terminales con carros grandes, pues nos trasladamos a
palomares, de ahí tomamos una desviación para Acayucan, ahí en la terminal de autobuses
esperamos nuestro turno para abordar el camión que nos llevaría directo a Mérida Yucatán,
vamos por primera vez, a visitar a mi tío y mis primos que viven ahí, como es la primera
vez que viajaremos ahí, pues estamos un poco emocionados, el viaje fue un poco largo,
muy cansado por el tiempo de espera para llegar a nuestro destino, el viaje se hizo de
noche, para llegar temprano, mientras viajábamos iba sentada con mi hermana que es 2
años más grande que yo, yo estaba dormida, todos iban despiertos, solo recuerdo que se
asomaban mucho por la ventana y mencionaban un puente muy largo donde pasábamos
encima del agua, que es en playa del Carmen, solo abrí mis ojos por un breve instante y vi
reflejo de agua, después me volví a dormir, al amanecer fue asombroso porque sabía que
faltaba menos para llegar, a cada rato preguntaba cuanto faltaba para llegar, eso me da
mucha risa. Al llegar a nuestro destino esperamos un breve instante que llegaran por
nosotros, llegaron mis dos tíos, uno que venía de un pueblo cercano al mío, y que también
llegó de visita, nos llevaron en el carro. Llegamos a Mérida, era todo muy bonito, la casa
de mi tío tenía una piscina, pero ughh lástima que no podíamos meternos, un poco más
tarde llegaron más tíos que venían de nuestra misma ruta, todos iban a reunirse, ahora que
estamos en el centro de Mérida, venimos a dar un paseo caminando, el que más me ha
gustado es paseo montejo, es como si estuviera en una parte de España o algo así, nunca eh
ido, pero eh visto fotos, y es algo parecido, los edificios y lugares, restaurantes,
antigüedades, negocios con muy bonitas arquitecturas, en especial el palacio “Cantón”,
visitamos distintos museos mayas incluyendo un museo herbolario donde apreciamos
variedades de plantas exóticas, todo bello. Compramos muchos recuerdos con mis primos,
las calles muy iluminadas con pantalla, eso hacía que las calles se vieran muy activas,
aparte de que hay muchos turistas, tomamos muchas fotos, comimos nieve, algodones de
azúcar, nos detuvimos a mirar la catedral de San Idelfonso más antigua que existe ahí, es
bonito cuando se pasa de noche, prenden luces y lo hace ver aún más elegante y antiguo.
Cuando regresamos a la casa de mis tíos, mis tías estaban listas ya para preparar unas ricas
tlayudas de Oaxaca, la prepararon en brazas y rompimos muchas piñatas, todo fue muy
alegre, la convivencia entre familia es muy bonita, me gusta mucho esta experiencia, y es
una de las que no olvidaré jamás, nos faltó visitar muchos lugares. Pronto regresaremos.
