Hello Delegates, Parents, and Advisors,

Thank you for attending EverMUN 2021! We look forward to hosting delegates of varying skill
levels and ages and ensuring an excellent experience to start off your MUN career. EverMUN is
a conference for beginner delegates, although there will be an advanced committee for those
who wish to participate. The staff has worked tirelessly over the last few months in order to
ensure that everything runs smoothly and delegates have a low-pressure, educational transition
into the wonderful world of Model United Nations. We are aware that MUN can come across as
overwhelming at times, especially in high stress competitive environments. Although EverMUN
is a competition, Dais members will gladly help with rules and procedures and answer any
questions you may have.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, EverMUN will be an entirely online conference. To ensure
delegate safety and curb the spread of this deadly disease, the staff has decided it would be
best to host this conference virtually. While many delegates may be upset with the lack of in-
person interactions, public safety comes first. The conference will take place over Zoom, which
delegates will need to have downloaded prior to the conference. Make sure you agree to both
Zoom’s and EverMUN’s terms and conditions.
We are excited to make history with delegates as we host this unprecedented conference. Few
online conferences have occurred before this, which means that although delegates may have
some experience with virtual MUN, this is a relatively new experience for everyone. The staff
has faced many challenges with this new form of diplomacy but has worked to ensure that
none of the important elements of MUN are missed out on. While delegates may not get to buy
piles of candy that somehow get finished by the end of the conference or tell jokes to their
friends during lunch, we have seen to it that the conference will include all the best parts of
MUN, like working rapidly to finish a resolution before time runs out and having fierce debates
against adversaries. We can’t wait to see how delegates make the most of these strange times
and use diplomacy to come up with solutions to real world problems.
EverMUN was founded with the intent that all delegates could have a smooth transition into
