Scope and Limitation of the Study

This study is only limited to the use of SR501 HC-

SR501 Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR Sensor), Arduino UNO

R3, DC 3-24V 85DB small enclosed Piezo Electronic Buzzer,

5mm LED light and GSM SIM 900 in constructing and

testing Safe-breaker Alarm using Arduino and PIR Sensor

with GSM Module.

This study utilize 4 different trials which

determine the speed of the safe-breaker alarm in response

to the distance of the intruder and the time of

detection.Distance A: 1 m ;Distance B: 2 m;Distance C: 3

m;Distance D: 4 m.

This study was conducted during the month of July to

August 2019 with the assistance Mrs. Roschel Robles and

also constructed under the supervision of Engr. Ernel Vic

P. Revicencio and tested at Jaena Norte, Jamindan, Capiz.

The formulas of speed of the safe breaker alarm was

computed to find out and describe the quantified data

gathered.
