Critical operation:
An operation that is difficult to handle takes more time compare to other operation or where
the line takes extra care to make a defect free garment.
And also the position of bottom holing in another placket should be checked, if
there is any fault in holing then its difficult for button to enter in the hole..
So there should be an inspection check point so that any fault or defect can rectify
before entering into next steps.
Sleeve placket :
Sleeve placket made up of two layer upper and lower and upper layer consist of a
diamond like shape which is difficult to stitch.. once sleeve placket is finished it is
attached with cuff . If there is any fault in diamond shape making then we have to
open the cuff then correct the placket which is critical operation.
The picture shows the sleeve placket with diamond like shape. There should be an
inspection check point so that before attaching cuff or stitching side seam we can
rectify the placket.
Sleeve attach:
Attaching sleeve to the bodice is a critical checkpoint as the chances of puckering
in this operation is high, reopening and sewing would hamper the fabric quality by
fraying and extension.
Collar:
Collar of formal shirt is the main parts of garment which is very difficult to stitch
Collar is firstly attached with collar band and then is attached with the neck line
.Before attaching with line collar should be checked.. The point of collar are
matching or not, once it is attached with neck line then it is difficult to correct, For
that whole collar with band will open and then again stitch to correct the points
of collar
So it is the critical operation, and there should be an inspection check point
Before attaching collar with neck line.
