Disscuses Summary of Reading Assessment


There are 5 rubric assessment of speaking that can be shows the speaking skill of someone in
english language. It means that to know the fluent of someone in speaking skill we need this rubric
assessment of speaking. We would like to explain the fifth of rubric speaking assessment.

 Grammar
Test takers are assessed on how to control its usage within sentences, to construct, to use it
appropriately and accurately and to avoid grammatical errors in speaking.

 Vocabulary
The range, precision, and the usage of vocabulary features in a conversation used by test
takers indicate the level of how proficient they are. One way to assess vocabulary is to ask a
person the definition of the word. This means that if a teacher assigns students a list of
vocabulary words to learn, the easiest way to assess whether a student has mastered these new
vocab words is to give them a closed book test in which they must provide the definitions.

 Comprehension
Understanding the context of the conversation and able to give appropriate response
according to the
question.

 Fluency
Fluency in language will show that the production of speech in a conversation is conveyed
well. Have confidence in delivering speeches and able to respond to certain themes without
much hesitation in choosing words. So that is proof that someone is capable and fluent in
language.

 Pronunciation
Pronunciation deals with how often errors in pronunciation occur and how the pronunciation
aspect interfere the communication are the criteria of the assessment.
