Eat Healthy Diet

Eating a healthy diet is not about strict limitations, staying


unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love.

Rather, it is about feeling great, having more energy, improving your


health, and boosting your mood.

Instead of eating junk food items, go for something more colorful.


Make sure you are getting the right combination of fruits, veggies,
legumes, and grains with every meal.

Nutrition is key to a POSITIVE MINDSET.

Use Less Salt and Sugar
Some of us tend to keep salt and sugar readily at the table.
Remove this habit to the limit and put it away altogether.

Salt and too much sodium can increase your blood pressure as well
as your risk for serious health issues like a heart attack or stroke.

The World Health Organization (WHO) advises that you consume no


more than 5g of salt per day, which is about one teaspoon.

Sugar is also a troublesome white condiment, for both adults and


children. Too many sweets can lead to tooth decay and unhealthy
weight gain.

For people who eat non vegetarian food, you don’t have to go
vegetarian, just give it a break once-a-week.

If you eat less meat, you may lose weight and reduce your risk of
diabetes and cancer.

In addition to those serious health benefits, you will also feel that your
skin is glowing, and people around you will be happy.

Avoid Alcohol & Tobacco

Consuming too much alcohol can lead to serious health problems, not
to mention the mental disorders.

Too much of alcohol & tobacco can drastically affect behavior and lead
you to do things you will later regret.

WHO also advises that it can cause liver cirrhosis, cancer, and heart
disease.

Alternative Forms Of Healing

Traditional eastern therapy is becoming increasingly popular among


people.

Practices such as Acupuncture, Yoga, and Reiki, can sooth many


physical and mental ailments.

Seeking out alternative remedies is also beneficial for health.

Exercise Daily

Whether you are simply getting outdoors for a brisk walk or you are
doing something more extreme like climbing a mountain, you will be
pleasantly surprised about the healing properties of nature.

You can do alternate forms of exercise like weight training, endurance


training or cross fit training.

The amount of physical activity that you need varies depending on


your age, but it’s crucial to get the body moving.
If you are not able to exercise, sit outside to get some sun and fresh
air for at least an hour a day.
