1. How does job analysis support human resource management activities? What are the steps
involved in the job analysis process? In a brief essay, compare and contrast job descriptions
and job specifications.

2. You have just joined your university as HR executive. Your HR manager has tasked you to
review the job analysis of Admission Officer at the university. Discuss the sequence in
which you will carry out this task.

3. What is a competency-based job analysis? Why should firms consider describing jobs in
terms of competencies instead of duties?
