Respected Sir,

We the representatives of Jain Sanghs of Ghatkopar Mumbai heartily congratulates you for very
sportingly acknowledging feeling of The Jains and entire compassionate communities of India and called
back decision to export live Animals from Nagpur. We trust now these one lakh animals shall not leave
India from anywhere.

As far as our information goes export of live Goats and Sheep to Gulf countries was on steep rise since
last several years particularly prior to 2 months of Eid al-Adha "Festival of Sacrifice” and one month post
these festival days. This time it disproportionally ballooned. All the Rashtrapremi and jivdayapremi of
India felt knee jerk shock with Govt’s such decision. That’s too particularly when nation is desperately in
waiting for winding up Pink Revolution and nationwide Gauvansh Hatya Pratibandh kannon which were
paramount issues pre 2014 era. We are certainly hopeful this dream of 1.25 billion Hindustani will
convert in reality by you only, immediately after 2019 because we know your heart bleeds for it.

Sir, the great concern was spreading this time across nation after news of live export of one lakh Goat
and sheep broke out, the flood gate is opened for export of live animals from various places after total
export of 21lakh tones of meat in 2016 -2017. Sir, our aristocratic history has abundantly vouched of self
sacrifice of our great grandfathers of glorious ancient Aryan culture to protect their protégé. Being
Human super sensed we are the natural guardian of entire living being so it’s our moral commitment to
to almighty and mother nature who created us all to protect our defenseless, speechless protégé. We
can’t abandoned those poor innocent animals at the mercy of Kasai for few Dollars, who took birth at
our soil, they are our siblings! We Hinustani always believe in jivo jivasya jivanam and not jiv jivasya
bhojanam. Our endeavor is to maintain and evolve our magnificent traditions.

Sir, today meeting was called by our jain Saints of Rashrapremi and Jivdayapremi in Ghatkopar suburb of
Mumbai in meeting of thousands of such devotees of Ghatkopar to discuss over highly concerned issue
of export of live animals, after detailed deliberations we have passed following resolution in national
interest :

WHILE WHOLE HEARTILY CONGRATULATING OUR GOVERNMENT OF INDIA FOR STOPPING PROPOSED EXPORT
OF ONE LAKH GOAT AND SHEEPS TO SHARJAH BY AIR CARGO CONSIDERING OUR INHERENT CULTURAL
SENTIMENTS. WE NOW APPEAL OUR HON’BLE PRIME MINISTER SHRI NARENDRA BHAI MODI JI TO
PROMULGATE OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION IN FORM OF GAZETTE VERY SOON DECLARING PROHIBITION OF EXPORT
OF ALL LIVE ANIMALS FROM INDIA FOR ANY PURPOSE EXCEPT FOR BREEDING, WHICH IS ALREADY IN OUR
EXISTING EXIM POLICY FOR OTHER ANIMALS LIKE BUFFALO, BULLOCKS, COWS CALF ETC..

And we have trust on our Govt. who shall deliver and upheld our pristine principal of Ahimsa.
