What is Opinion?

 Opinion is a judgment based on facts.


 It is an expression of a person’s feelings that cannot be proven.
 Opinions can be based on facts or emotions and sometimes they are meant to deliberately
mislead others.
 An opinion is potentially changeable depending on how the evidence is interpreted. By
themselves, opinions have little power to convince.
 A statement of belief or feeling. It shows one’s feelings about a subject. Solid opinions,
while based on facts, are someone’s views on a subject and not facts themselves
 An opinion expresses someone’s belief, feeling, view, idea, or judgment about something
or someone.
 Opinions express how a person feels about something – opinions do not have to be based
upon logical reasoning.

 A statement of actuality or occurrence. It is based on direct evidence, actual experience, or
observation.
