Beautiful Boxer is a Thai film that based on true story, It was released in

the year of 2003 that was Directed by Ekachai Uekrongtham. Beautiful

Boxer is an intriguing, independent feature. It is Based on the true story

of Thailand’s famed transvestite kickboxer, Beautiful Boxer is a poignant

action drama that punches straight into the heart and mind of a boy who

fights like a man so he can become a woman. On the movie of beautiful

boxer there was a scene that he was being interviewed by a man and he

asked Nong Toom aboout when did he found out that he has a different

identity? Nong toom answered that, Since he was a child he already

knew that he really wants to become a woman. Because he since then

he is more interesting in doing a girl stuffs, he also want to play with the
girls rather than boys, and he really loved to put a lipstick and make up

on his face. Moving forward Nong Toom won into fight which is the

kickboxing because he wanted to earn a money for his family. Nong

Toom won a lot of times became famous in Thailand not just in Thailand

but also in Japan. When he already have a lot of money, he did the sex

re-assignment surgery to achieve his dream to become a woman.

Even though the graphics of this film is not that clear, the message of this

movie is very clear especially to those people that can relate in the story

of Nong Toom. Always remember, that you don’t have to feel ashamed

just because you have a different identity among others. As long as you

know to yourself that you didn’t do anything wrong to other people. just

focus on your goals in life and prove to them that even though you have

a different identity it will never be a hindrance for you to not achieve all

your goals and dreams in life.
