1. What are the guides of good plans?

*The guides of good plans is the 5W 1H, They include "Who" 'What" "When" "Where"
and Why. And "How" this is considered basic in information gathering.

2. Explain the SARA problem solving technique?

*The SARA problem-solving technique has contributed greatly to policing

effectiveness and consists of four (4) stages

1. Scanning - identifying the problem

2. Analysis- learning the problem’s causes, scope, and effects

3. Response- acting to alleviate the problem

4. Assessment- determining whether the responce worked

3. What are the elements of Planning?

1. A goal- what do you want to attain?

2. Course of action- how would you reach your goal?

3. Implementing group- who is tasked to do the actions?

4. Resources needed- what is needed to accomplish?

4. What is police blotter?

* POLICE BLOTTER

A police blotter is a 18 x 12 logbook with hard bound cover that contains the daily
register of all crimes incident reports, official summary of arrests, and other significant
events reported in a police station. A separate Police Blotter, however, shall be
maintained in crime incident reports involving violence against women and children and
those case involving a child in conflict with the law to protect their privacy pursuant to
RA 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act of 2004) and 9344 (Juvenile
Justice and Welfare Act of 2006).
5. What are the duties and responsibilities of Patrol Officer?

*Duties and Responsibilities of Patrol Officers

1. Patrolling assigned beats, observing and checking suspicious people,

structures/building, compounds and vehicles;

2. Responding to calls, entertaining complaints; initiating the investigation and

protection of the scene and minimizing the after effects of accident, fires and other
catastrophes;

3. Inquiring at public gatherings, preventing disorders and dispersing unlawful

assemblies;

4. Preventing crimes and arresting wrongdoers sighted, assuring the public that peace
is preserved;

5. Inspecting and/or conducting surveillance in various places of business

establishments and other installation and removal of hazards of public safety;

6. Assisting traffic personnel of responsible agencies/unit in facilitating the flow of traffic

at busy intersections/roads within AOR;

7. Conducting home visitations, ugnayans/dialogue and organizing CVOs during

weekends;

8. Reporting occurrences and conditions which relate to crime, public peace and order
and public safety.

9. Enforcing city/municipal ordinances on liquor establishments and night clubs,

cabarets and all houses of ill-refute; and

10. Checking suspicious vehicles (private,public, or commercial/delivery vehicles along

the highways in the course of their patrol.
