EY Young Tax Professional of the
Year (YTPY) is an international
competition designed to recognize
and foster the next generation
of tax leaders. Originally started
in 2011 with 9 countries, the
current iteration of YTPY brings
together future tax leaders from
across 18 countries.
The tax environment is constantly
transforming to reflect legislative,
regulatory and technological
changes. Now more than ever, Tax
is taking a seat at the global table,
traversing borders to highlight the
power in international, multilateral
thinking and decision-making.
Reflecting on this landscape, the
competition places a strategic
emphasis on digital readiness and
innovation.
The stage is now set for YTPY
2020 and we wanted to extend
an invite to your students to be
part of this competition. It will
allow them to collaborate and
compete with other aspiring
talent from various cities. This
unique platform gives them
an opportunity to learn about
the constantly changing tax
environment and the qualities
that would help them succeed
in a global organization.
EY Global Delivery Services (GDS)
is on the lookout for a dynamic
young leader to represent us at
the Global Finale. The EY GDS
local competition brings together
talented minds across the country
to compete for this opportunity.
Participants will be tested on their
cognitive abilities, personality
traits, their understanding of tax
and their presentation skills across
multiple stages that involve online
tests, case studies, presentations
and group discussions.
The winner of the EY GDS
competition will have the
opportunity to win exciting prizes
and will be personally coached
by EY GDS tax leaders to be
successful at the EY Global Finale
and beyond. In November 2020,
local country winners from across
the world will come together
to take part in the Global YTPY
Finale and the winner will be
crowned as the EY Young tax
Professional of the Year 2020.
