CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

Students will learn fundamental computer networking concepts and apply them as they configure a
LAN/WAN network using Cisco routers and Catalyst switches. Through lectures, discussions,
demonstrations, exercises, and laboratory projects, students are given information sufficient to
identify and recommend the best Cisco solutions for anywhere from small to enterprise-sized
businesses. CCNA also provides the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting information that
technical support people require to install, manage, and configure Cisco products.

CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)

CCNP certification indicates knowledge of networking for big enterprises. It also confirms the ability
to work in organizations whose networks have 100 to more than 500 nodes. Candidates should pursue
the following path:

• 642-902 ROUTE: Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE)

• 642-813 SWITCH: Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks (SWITCH)
• 642-832 TSHOOT: Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks (TSHOOT)

CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional)

Cisco certified security professional (CCSP) is an advanced level certification which requires some
prior knowledge about Cisco network design, security management, firewall, intrusion detection
system and VPN. Candidates should pursue the following path:

• 642-504 SNRS: Securing Networks with Cisco Routers and Switches

• 642-524 SNAF: Securing Networks with ASA Foundation
• 642-533 IPS: Implementing Cisco Intrusion Prevention System
• 642-515 SNAA: Securing Networks with ASA Advanced

VOIP (Voice over IP)

VOIP is 4G communication technology that is used to transmitting the voice over the internet. The
main benefits include the reduced costs for the long distance calls, eliminating the requirements for
managing separate voice and data infrastructure and the eliminating the need to pay for the regular
telephone lines.

Career: Networking course which is in great demand among students and in the market. With the increasing use of computers and
laptops in every field of productivity, Network Professionals are required in a large number from offices, to shops and houses. As a Network
Professional you may also prefer to work independently and make your own customers. Some companies which do not employ entire team
of network professionals, you may make them your clients and work on commission base.
