Indra Nooyi is an Indian American business woman. She is the CEO of PepsiCo, the second
largest food and beverage business in the world.
In the late 2000s, the soda market was starting to decrease. Indra Nooyi took this
information very seriously and thought it was necessary to change the strategy. It was the
only solution to make the company grow more and to avoid collapsing. Therefore, Indra Noyi
decided to change the former products to healthier products: « It was where the market was
going. That was where we needed to go », she said.
