The aim of the text intends to describe, narrate, entertain, recommend or persuade the
writer’s audience that is encompassed by friends, family members or groups with a
common interest.

BLOG NARRATIVE - DRIVEN BLOG

ENTRY It is a narrative-driven blog focused on narrating clearly a set of


events such as an excursion or an important event in the life of the
blogger. Alternatively, your blog may focus on something you have
experienced: a sporting event, a wedding or a concert.
Language
● Use first- and second-person pronouns (“I, you”) to make
the entry personal.
● Use conjunctions to improve the flow of statements and
make reading more interesting.
● Use vivid words, expressions, modifiers (and images)
● Frequently, use past tense.
● Use connectors to join your sentences.
● Use the language in a chatty and informal way.
● Include descriptive detail on events and write some
thoughts and reflections.

more informative or opinionated.
