GM unintentionally gave Wall

Street a peek at this secret

Hummer SUV

2023 GMC Hummer electric SUV during Barclays Global Automotive

Conference.

GM's presentation to Barclays on Thursday afternoon was done virtually

from GM's Design Dome at the company's Global Technical Center in
Warren. CEO Mary Barra and Doug Parks, executive vice president of
global product development, purchasing and supply chain, laid out the
carmaker's electric vehicle strategy, but that's not all they did.

GM sat the two right next to the yet-to-be-revealed 2023 GMC Hummer
SUV during the presentation for Wall Street and the media to see.

A GM spokesman declined to comment other than to joke: "We moved

'Anything Can Happen' day to Thursday."

Hummer enthusiasts noticed it and posted a screen grab on

HummerChat.com, which then sent the image around saying: "A member
of the Hummer EV forum shared a photo from a GM investor conference
showing CEO Mary Barra with the upcoming Hummer EV SUV as well as
another prototype. This is the first image of the upcoming Hummer SUV."

Other outlets picked up on it as well. Car and Driver reported that GM will
eventually offer the Hummer EV as a pickup or SUV with a two- or three-
motor setup.  The SUV, due to market in late 2022 or early 2023, is
expected to start at about $75,000.
