CPS Experience
CPS has a proven track record of delivering sustainable value to customers for their existing operations, as well as greenfield and brownfield expansion projects. The
CPS team recently delivered high accuracy, light weight, low noise, low rolling resistance idlers for overland conveyors to the Rio Tinto Silvergrass project and the
BHP Jimblebar expansion project, exceeding the technical and commercial KPIs. CPS has also supplied high-quality Australian components internationally to the
First Quantum Minerals Cobre Panama copper project and other mine expansions in Asia and Africa.

Our Rollers
What makes our rollers so special?
Our rollers are built with our unique CBH™ technology.
CPS manufactures conveyor rollers using Composite Bearing Housing technology High quality, heavy duty design
CBH™. This technology is now used to produce all our conveyor rollers. Through
innovation in design since 2003, we are able to provide a complete range of
rollers for light, medium and heavy duty applications. Our unique design and Precision Injected Moulded Housing
manufacturing process has resulted in a roller series that are manufactured to ensure • Anti-static pin
optimum performance, reliability and durability. • Press fit / no weld
• Perfectly balanced
• No pizza cutter slicing belts

Conveyor Frames
CPS designs and manufactures premium quality conveyor idler frames in standard belt width sizes
or completely customised to suit individual client requests. Frames are designed using the latest 3D
Computer Aided Design software, then processed through our ANSYS Finite Element Analysis system to
ensure the frames are fit for duty. CPS utilise multiple manufacturing methods, including robotic welding,
to produce idler frames and other associated structure to tolerance and quality levels previously unseen
in the conveyor industry.

CPS Pulley Division
Custom designed by the CPS Engineering Team utilising recognised industry and proprietary software
packages, all pulleys are individually engineered, optimised and manufactured to the highest standards,
meeting all levels of client specifications. CPS offer extensive customised pulley options, delivering our
clients a truly fit for purpose solution for any application. CPS pulleys are manufactured using Australian
grade steels and the highest quality components, delivering a strong product designed for maximum
reliability and performance.
Pulley Lagging
Pulley shells are commonly lagged to protect the pulley face from wear and provide better traction to the
belt. Applying the right lagging material is crucial to the performance of the pulley, life of your conveyor
belting and the reliability of your system. CPS pulleys can be customised with a variety of lagging systems.
Benefits include
• Control of tension & minimized dynamic effects
• Low cost retrofit additional drive power & modular expandable conveyors
• Lighter duty/simplified drive stations
• Reduced alignment requirements
• Reduced cost of related components (pulleys, idlers, belt, etc)
