Goal:
By the end of the lesson the students will be able to design a caption utilizing the a photo given to them by me as
well as to evaluate the situation depending on the context to choose the correct set of expressions for the caption.

T will greet the students. “Hi, guys! How are you? So, I wanted to share with you a little about myself. I Computer Teacher –

Show Ss the video (extra resources) where the girl is talking about the different exclamations we make
while scrolling through Instagram. After the video finishes ask:

T: “Who here likes to read posts of other people? (Ask specific student) And not because you are
interested in their life, just because you like to gossip? I can admit that I often do that.” (Students will
be chosen by me) (Make Ss participate by asking directly)

T will ask Ss about the types of post they like to read, be it from Instagram or Facebook, and if they are
good creating conclusions for captions of pictures before reading them.

Before moving on into the next section T will make the teams (show them power point presentation
with teams already made) (6 teams: 2 of 5 and 4 of 4). The teams are as follows: (In case someone is
missing the teams will be remade by a random generator included in extra resources). The leader of
each team has already been selected.

Procedure
T: “Okay guys, next I want you to answer this little survey. The first question is personal, but the rest
you can answer with the help of this text” (Give each student a survey and ask one Ss to read the Computer,

Specific order of organized activities.
Procedure
After reading the real caption together give the students 6 min to create another caption. Give each
student a worksheet and tell them that they have to create an Instagram post that goes with the
picture, tell them to also include: the location of where the picture was taken, the number of hearts the
picture has, the username of the person, the date of when the picture was uploaded, at least two
hashtags and one comment form another user. Specify that each caption should be at least 2 sentences
long.

The leader will pass to the front and show the rest of the group their Instagram post. Computer

Instructions: “After you finish writing your own Instagram post your leader is going to be passing to the Power point
