Means what the speaker is wanting student to do . It is an order.)

2 Il peint, peints-He is painting , paint. ( He is painting means what he is doing/ Paint,

peints- means what speaker wants the student to do. It is an order) Same pattern has to be
followed for statement numbers 3,4,,5,6
3 Elle saute, saute. She jumps, jump.
4 Elle téléphone, téléphone...- She telephones, telephone.
5 Elle apprend l’anglais. – She is learning English.
Elle apprend le français.- She is learning French.
6 Il court, court. He is running, run.
 What the person in the picture is doing. What the speaker want the student to do.
The speaker is giving an order.
