Final Evaluation  

I found this assessment to be very enjoyable as it provided me with many 

new skills that I previously did not know how to do. In this assessment 
that main new skills that I have Aquired include my: 
❏Onshape and CAD skills 
❏Cutting Skills 
❏Sketching and designing skills 
❏Planning Skills 
As this was my last technology assessment I found it one of the most 
enjoyable and think that the skills I learnt will be handy for future years. 
The fact that I have improved on these skills is very beneficial for me as 
in previous assessments I have been unable to do onshape or cut with 
precision very easily.  
Overall I am very pleased with the end result of my task and confidently 
feel that it is of a high standard and will give me a good total grade for 
Technology. The biggest challenges for me were learning how to cut 
precisely and feel that I can now confidently do that. If I were to remake 
my serving board I would probably have a border around it to make sure 
that food doesn’t fall from the board and might try a new design for the 
handle but overall I am very proud and pleased with the design. I think 
that in the process of making my serving board I used my time wisely and 
managed to complete the task promptly and with good effort. I think that 
my board has mastered the balance between functionality and aesthetics 
with hand grips to make it easy to hold and with a modern rustic look. 
These various features have resulted in a good overall product which I am 
very happy to call my job.
