ACTIVITES: Pre-lesson Use ‘Unit opener’ in the Teacher’s Book as a lesson starter. Pupils discuss in small groups the picture on p.95 of their Student’s Book. Lesson delivery This lesson focuses on Activities A, B and C. See Teacher’s Book for detailed guidance. As a follow-up activity to Activity C, and to practise further the main skill for this lesson, give pupils in small groups (of 3 or 4) one section of the text to read and ask them to discuss what they find most interesting in their reading. Collect some responses as a whole class. Activity C and the follow-up activity focus on developing the main skill for this lesson. Activities A, B and C provide an opportunity to practise the complementary skill. Post-lesson Ask pupils to identify with their talk partner(s) at least one new word or expression that they have learned in relation to the lesson topic.
