Task 1
Recently the persecution of Rohingas by the Myanmar forces has stunned the world. You
decided to write a letter to the Principal of your school to request him/her to take necessary
initiative to arrange a campaign in school to collect aid for the Rohingas.
Write your letter. You must include the following:

 When and why did the persecution start


 How are the Rohingas suffering (in both Myanmar and Bangladesh)
 How do you think the campaign is appropriate and beneficial for both the students and
the school

Cover all three points above in detail. You should make sure your letter is polite but persuasive.
Start your letter ‘Dear Sir,’ and remember to add an appropriate ending.
