SPAN CALIBRATION FOR AP-1 (AP-1-EX)

1. Make sure scale is UNPLUGGED. Remove the CALIBRATION BOLT located on the rear left side of the scale.

2. After removing the CALIBRATION BOLT you will see a red MICRO-SWITCH. Slide the MICRO SWITCH to the
left (towards pole).

3. Put the platter on the scale platform.

4. Plug scale in. The WEIGHT display should flash “CAL” three times and then go blank.

5. Press the 3 key and then the C key.

6. Once the displays read “LoAd” put the FULL CAPACITY OF WEIGHT (30 lb or 15 lb) on the platter and press
the C key.

FULL CAPACITY OF WEIGHT is either 15lb(6 kg) or 30lb(15 kg) depending on whether your scale is set up for pounds
or kilos.

7. Once the scale displays go blank, remove all weights from the platter.

8. Press the 0 key.

9. The scale will show “Err 2” or go to ZERO.

10. Unplug the scale and slide the MICRO SWITCH to the right (away from pole) and replace the CALIBRATION
BOLT located on the rear left side of the scale.

11. Plug the scale back in and let it go to ZERO.

12. Test the accuracy of the scale.

A) If scale is NOT 100% accurate, unplug scale and repeat steps 1 to 11.

B) If scale IS 100% accurate: unplug scale and you are done.
