1 General Data Overview
How To Use This Manual
The Architect i1000SR process path provides
i1000SR Module Overview the incubated environment for the reaction
Assay Pipetting Protocols process to occur. Reaction vessels containing
sample and reagent are held in a disk that sits
Card Cage on top of a circular, heated track. This disk
CMIA Optics rotates in a counter-clockwise direction,
moving one position every 18 seconds. The
Fluidics and Vacuum process path provides access points for
Liquid Level Sense and Pressu various sub assemblies to perform steps
involved in the assay sequence and reaction
Power Supply and Distribution process. These include loading the RV into the
Process Path path, liquid aspiration and dispense locations,
mixing (vortexing) locations, a reaction mixture
Reaction Vessel Loader
washing location, the optics reading location
Reagent Management and unloading the RVs to waste.
