Ultra Mex Premieres ‘Cien por Uno’, an Olympusat Original Production, on Sunday June 26th

at 9 p.m. EST

West Palm Beach, FL – June 24, 2016 – Ultra Mex, the only HD movie channel in the U.S.
carrying truly contemporary Mexican films, ranging from independent productions to
Hollywood studio hits, with the best actors and directors, is proud to announce the world
premiere of Cien por Uno, an Olympusat, Inc., original production, never seen before.

This action film deals with the Mexican drug war and cartels – a reflection of a subculture of
conducts and lifestyles for those involved with the narco movement. It will be featured on
Sunday June 26, at 9 p.m. EST.

“This movie gives a unique twist to a story that has become the new normal: drug gangs that
are at war with each other,” said actor John Solís, one of the main characters. “We shared great
moments during the production. We did work very long hours, but pleasantly and without any
hurdles. We are satisfied with the results.”

Based on the popular corrido, Cien por Uno is the story of Agustín Quintero, the right-hand man
of a notorious Mexican drug lord and mastermind of an organized crime network, the Cabrillo
cartel. Although he does not approve of his sister’s relationship with Alejandro, an
untrustworthy mobster, he gives him a job within the cartel. By going behind his back,
Alejandro establishes a business relationship with the son of a feared and rivaled Colombian
drug kingpin.

By the time Agustín finds out about the deal, it is too late. Alejandro was killed in an ambush
owing the Colombians huge sums of money. After Alejandro’s death, the Colombian drug gang
goes after Agustín and his sister to collect the money they were owed. This unleashes a fierce
clash between the two sides.

Having no place to escape to, Agustín must face the bloodthirsty adversary in order to save his
life and that of his sister. As the title of the movie indicates, the mob is ready to sacrifice one
hundred of its men in order to kill one guy.

Actor John Solís particularly remembers one act: a scene with people deep in mud. “It was the
most disgusting thing we had to do, but it was also the most fun –he recalled–. We had to
record it in a very humid place, where the water was almost black, although it looked great
cinematically. Being covered by mud for eight hours is exhausting, but at the same time cool.
We ended up looking like little hogs in a pigsty!”
Ultra Mex is currently available on Verizon FiOS, Charter Spectrum and Liberty Cablevision of
Puerto Rico.
